Educational Simulations is committed to helping people in disadvantaged countries in a variety of ways. First, the Real Lives simulation gives you and your students the opportunity to learn how people really live in other countries. By taking the part of another human being and facing realistic life decisions, we hope your students will develop compassion for and understanding of others. This may influence students to act intelligently and compassionately later in life, for example, when called on to vote, make charitable contributions, choose a vocation, and interact with some of the world's six billion people. Educational Simulations contributes 10% of its profits quarterly to worthy charitable organizations working to improve the lives of people in disadvantaged countries. In addition, Educational Simulations encourages and provides support for fund-raising projects by high schools aimed at donating money to charities.
